Taman  Safari Indonesia I (TSI I) or commonly called Taman Safari Indonesia  Cisarua was a place for family recreation and environmentally oriented  wildlife habitat in the wild. Indonesian tourism objects Cisarua Safari Park is a mix between modern zoos and nature tourism. Taman Safari Indonesia I (TSI I) located in the village Cibeureum, Cisarua district, Bogor regency, West Java, Indonesia. Taman  Safari Indonesia Cisarua was established in 1980 by occupying an area  of 138.5 hectares and officially opened to the public in 1986. This  park is built on a tea plantation which was no longer productive,  situated at an altitude of 900 m to 1800 m above sea level, temperatures  average 16 ° C - 24 ° C and at a time into the buffer Pangrango Gunung  Gede National Park. By  Mr. Soesilo Soedarman, as Minister of Tourism, Post and  Telecommunications at the time, ditetapkanlah Taman Safari Indonesia in  Cisarua as National Tourism. On March 16, 1990, by Mr. Ir. Taman  Safari Indonesia Cisarua other than as a recreational site, the Safari  Park also has several functions, namely an active part in helping the  business of protection and conservation of wildlife populations  threatened with extinction due to habitat loss. In  addition it also serves to enhance knowledge by conducting various  studies to support the preservation of wildlife, and to conduct  campaigns, education and counseling about conservation. 
Taman Safari Indonesia Animal Collection I
Safari Park has a collection of more than 2500 animal tail, which consists of 250 species and most of these endangered species. Some  kind of endangered species including: Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris  sumatrae), Sumatran elephant (Elephas maximus sumatrae), Curik Bali  (Leucopsar rotsildi), Anoa (bubalus depressicornis) and various species  of reptiles. Taman Safari Indonesia Cisarua has a collection of local animals and animals from abroad. Local wildlife, such as: Komodo, Bison, Black Bear Honey, White Tiger, Elephant, Anoa and others.

From Jakarta, approximately 80 km. About 78 km from Bandung. If  from Jakarta or Bandung using public transport such as buses, stopping  at Cibeureum Cisarua, then continued with the use of public  transportation and it takes ± 15 minutes to get to Taman Safari.
